The Blank Page and Bolt of Cloth

I know that everyone faced with the blank sheet of paper thinks, what do I want to say. Also, when I say it ... Why? What do I want to accomplish with a blog. I want to stimulate you to think and answer because you will write me and then I will be stimulated.

There are many analogies: a plant and watering, something as simple as saying HI. So this is a beginning. I love embroidery. It is the big blank page and sewing is another. I look at a bolt of cloth and I worry that if I use it for "this"... when "that" comes along I won't have it, so I sit and look at the bolt of cloth. But I have learned with age "that" may never come and there is only so much yardage my house can hold.

I have now begun and I look forward to your stitches and advice and whatever you throw my way. Welcome and hang on.

  • We are never sure that there will be a "someday". Some day is today, there may not be a tomorrow. Plan for the future, but do things now.KIT
