My husband likes to fly fish. And he is a catch and release guy, so no hooks with barbs. Have you ever tried to find fishing designs without barbs on the hooks? Even ones that are done based on fly fishing equipment seem to always have barbs. So I've never done any projects based on fly fishing.

And then this artwork came along! The curly and wavy lines just seem to capture the spirit of fly fishing though my husband still complained the curvy lines should be behind the fishing person! Just can't please a guy sometimes! And did you notice I wrote "person"? The set has both men and women fishing.

So today I was off to the fabric shop and I found some flannel printed with realistic river fish, so I now have a fishing rag quilt project waiting to be planned, cut and completed. I'll keep you updated.
